Ballpark in Arlington
See the most exciting behind-the-scenes areas of the ballpark including Rangers clubhouse, batting cages, press box, owner’s suite, dugouts, and much more.
All tours start at the First Base Box Office located on the south side of Rangers Ballpark. Look for the Tours window, where Ballpark Tour Tickets may be purchased in advance or at tour time, subject to availability. Parking is available in the Academy Sports + Outdoors B Lot at the corner of Nolan Ryan Expressway and Randol Mill Road.

Bison Tour at LLELA
Once each month, visitors are invited to roam over to LLELA’s bison area for a guided tour. Participants will meet herd owner Robert Vaughan at the gatehouse, then drive out for an opportunity to see the bison up close (great photo opportunity!) and learn more about bison natural history and husbandry.
All ages are welcome; registration is required at 972-219-7980. The tour is available for only $2/person in addition to LLELA’s regular gate fee of $5/person.
The bison are normally off view in a secure area of LLELA, so this is a chance to visit a part of the preserve most people don’t get to see.

California Pizza Kitchen
Get a behind-the-scene look at how pizza is made. Kids get to make their own pizza – and eat it too!
Tours are generally best suited for preschool through age 10, and averages 45-60 minutes in length. And yes, this tour is free.
Tours can be scheduled in the morning, before the restaurant opens, or after 3pm.

Central Market is a great place to bring the kids for a tour. Tours can be geared toward any age group, or any particular topic that your group may be working on (environmental, organic, healthy, etc.).

Kayak Tour at LLELA
Kayak down the Elm Fork with Kayak Power on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Whether you’ve got lots of river time under your belt or have never set foot in a kayak, you’re welcome here!
Kayak Power will provide equipment and instruction, followed by a 6-mile trip down the Elm Fork to a shuttle vehicle.
Adults $50, Ages 13-18 $25, includes park admission, equipment, drinks and snacks. Registration required.

Kroger tours generally last about 30 minutes and give kids an overview of the various departments. Kids enjoy visiting the freezer, get cookie samples, and go home with a balloon.

LV Station ToursYour Lewisville Fire Department has six fire stations strategically located throughout the community. Groups of citizens, students, Cub Scouts, Brownies, and other organizations can request a tour of one of the stations.
Tour groups learn about the responsibilities of the station, its personnel, and the assigned equipment through both fun and educational activities. During the tour you will see where the firefighters work and live, learning about the working environment and requirements, and their commitment to your community. Tour information is tailored to the group’s specific needs or age.
If you have a Kodak moment and have forgotten your camera, the fire houses have disposable cameras for you to use and take with you.
The department recommends that groups be no larger than 15 people and arrangements are made at least two weeks in advance.

The Special Operations Van is a community-based command center. The center is a 30′ Winnebago that has been specially designed and equipped to assist department personnel in delivering quality services to our community. The center is designed to assist the department at a variety of community events along with being a “home base” to personnel during critical incidents as they occur throughout our community.
Please feel free to stop by at any community-based event where you see the van for a quick tour.

Market Street will bring you and the kids from department to department. Smell the cheeses, create an icing rose in the bakery, touch a lobster, and learn about all aspects of the store. Lots of samples along the way!

Self-guided tours are available 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday. Guided tours are available by reservation only at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.

There are two tours available for local Scouts:
- For $5 per Scout, we offer a 1-1/2 hour theater tour and workshop. We show them around the theater–the box office, office, tech booth, backstage, prop room, costume room and theater, and then lead them in a series of acting games and exercises. They tailor the games to fit the ages/needs of the group. At the end they get a Scout theater patch.
- For $5 per scout and adult (and any siblings) they can come 45 minutes before any of our age-appropriate shows and we give them a tour of the theater and then they can stay and watch the show. The Scouts will be given a Scout patch.

Texas Motor Speedway
