Preschool Programs
Discovery Play Workshop Kit: Discovery Play Workshop kits give caregivers and children opportunities to play together. Kits are intended for children aged 18 months to 3 years. Registration required; sign up at tcpl.ticketleap.com beginning February 15.

  • Preschool – Paper plate snowman;
  • Children – Yarn bookmark;
  • Teen/Adult – Cross stitch bookmark.
  • Registration begins January 4.
• February:
  • Preschool – Paint with water
  • Children – Dot art canvas
  • Teen/Adult – DIY foam stamps.
  • Registration begins February 1.
• March:
  • Preschool – Cupcake liner flowers
  • Children – Paper roll flowers
  • Teen/Adult – Paper succulent garden.
  • Registration begins March 1.
• April:
  • Preschool – Pinwheel
  • Children – Stitched string art
  • Teen/Adult – DIY scratch art.

• Interactive Movie Experience Kit: Participate in the movie experience! Each take home kit includes an interactive movie script, a bag of microwave popcorn, and props for up to 6 participants. Registration required; sign up at tcpl.ticketleap.com beginning February 15.
• Spring Break Family Activity Kit: Need some ideas to fill your Spring Break? Pick up a kit with activities, crafts, and more for up to 6 participants. Registration required; sign up at tcpl.ticketleap.com beginning March 8.
• StoryWalk®: Enjoy a story and the outdoors at the same time. Read a book page-by-page and interact with the story as you walk in the park. Visit thecolonypl.org for date and location.

Tween/Teen Programs (Grades 6-12)

• Registration required; sign up at tcpl.ticketleap.com.
• Oreo Truffles Kit: Make a Valentine’s treat for someone special! Registration begins February 8.
• Punch Needle Patches Kit: Create an iron-on patch to stick on a backpack, shirt, or jacket. Registration begins March 8.
• Folded Book Art Kit: Make a cute paper hedgehog with recycled books. Registration begins April 19.
