TrainTopia at the Museum of the American Railroad is a 2,500 sq. ft. world of operating miniature trains!
Located inside the Frisco Discovery Center (8004 N. Dallas Pkwy.) just south of downtown Frisco, Texas, TrainTopia is a truly spectacular exhibit you will not want to miss!
Indulge your inner child and experience this exquisite exhibit with your family and friends. TrainTopia is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10am to 5pm and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm. Highlights include scavenger hunts for mini hidden “treasures” on the layout, a spectacular light show that transitions from sunrise to sunset several times during your visit, and the friendliest volunteers & staff you’ll ever meet. TrainTopia has thrilled guests from all over the world since opening in the summer of 2018.

The Museum of the American Railroad is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to celebrating the heritage and exploring the future of railroads through historic preservation, research, and educational programming. The Museum collects artifacts and archival material from the railroad industry to exhibit and interpret their significance in American life and culture. Exhibits and general programs are provided year-round. Educational programs are available to local schools, camps, daycares, and universities through study trips, in-class programming & outreach, and online resources.
