Trinity Trash Bash
Lewisville Lake is part of the Trinity River system that extends from northwest of Gainesville flowing southward until it reaches Galveston Bay on the Gulf of Mexico.

The City of Lake Dallas is a 100% watershed community with a direct impact on the water quality of Lewisville Lake. Water runoff from our culverts and creeks flows directly into the lake and impacts the plants and animals within that ecosystem.

Please wear long sleeves, pants and sturdy shoes. Gloves, trash bags and hand sanitizer will be provided. Grabbers and orange vests will be distributed on a first come first served basis. Children under 16 years of age must have a chaperone present throughout the entire event.
The Trash Bash is a come rain or shine event except in the case of severe weather. For more information call 940-497-2226.
Volunteer Sign Up
Please mail the Volunteer Sign Up Sheet to City Hall. Volunteers can also register the morning of the event. Let’s Keep Lake Dallas Beautiful by encouraging environmental responsibility, reducing litter, and beautifying our community.
